Fire Engineer – Recladding projects – Dublin

We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary consultancy with a global record of successful delivery on a range of projects including, but not limited to, Data Centres, Recladding, Medical Projects, Nursing homes, Clinics and many more. 

Due to continuous growth, they are now seeking a well experienced Fire Engineer to oversee recladding projects in Ireland, being based in the Dublin office.

Responsibilities

•    Fire Safety Design & Strategy Development
Prepare and review fire safety strategies, fire engineering reports, and fire risk assessments for new and existing buildings, with a particular focus on facade and cladding compliance.
•    Facade & Cladding Assessment
Undertake detailed assessments of cladding systems and external wall assemblies to ensure compliance with current Irish Building Regulations and international fire safety standards.
•    Technical Advisory & Compliance
Provide expert technical guidance to design teams, architects, and contractors on fire safety principles, materials selection, and fire performance of facade systems throughout project design and delivery.
•    Fire Modelling & Performance Analysis
Utilise fire dynamics, smoke modelling, and evacuation analysis tools to support design verification and risk mitigation on complex building projects.
•    Collaboration & Client Liaison
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients, attending design meetings, providing technical input, and supporting project documentation to ensure timely and compliant fire engineering delivery.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably on Cladding projects
Must have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin office

Benefits

€60,000 - €80,000
