A market-leading European contractor delivering large-scale, mission-critical projects across the continent is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join a major data centre build in Sweden. With a strong pipeline of hyperscale projects, this role offers long-term career growth across some of the most complex technical builds in Europe.
This site-based role is ideal for a mechanically or electrically qualified professional with experience managing MEP services, subcontractors, and programme delivery on large-scale industrial or data centre projects.
As MEP Manager, you will provide full mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire (MEPF) support to the client’s construction management team, general contractor, and subcontractors. You will lead coordination, quality, safety, and programme performance across all MEP systems, ensuring smooth delivery from design review through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate MEPF contractors across all trades and systems
Review IFC design packages, change directives, and technical proposals for compliance and constructability
Track and monitor MEPF shop drawings, RFIs, technical submittals, and approvals
Oversee equipment delivery schedules, installation sequencing, and commissioning activities
Lead project planning sessions and align OFCI vendors with the overall programme
Monitor daily site progress, manpower, and resources to ensure programme milestones are achieved
Conduct site inspections to verify quality, compliance, and minimise rework
Support commissioning from Level 1–3 and interface with the client Cx team for Levels 4–5
Review variations, liaise with commercial teams, and support risk mitigation strategies
Ensure safety standards are upheld at all times and foster a culture of safe working practices
Provide leadership, technical guidance, and support to MEPF contractors throughout delivery and handover
Candidate Requirements:
A third-level qualification in a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, etc.)
Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar MEP role
Experience delivering data centres, pharma, cleanrooms, or other complex industrial projects
Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in reporting, documentation, and use of digital tools
