Surveyor – Façades & Dry Lining – Erith We are partnering with a long-established contractor delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across London and the South East. They are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join their team, taking responsibility for commercial management on a range of façade, dry lining, and fit-out projects in Erith. Responsibilities • Commercial Management of Projects • Valuations & Variations • Subcontractor Management • Contract Administration & Risk Mitigation • Client & Stakeholder Engagement Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in a surveying or commercial construction role Benefits Salary: £40,000–£70,000 (depending on experience) Keywords Surveyor, Façades, Dry Lining, SFS, Commercial, Cost Control, Project Management, Client-Facing, Erith
Take full ownership of assigned packages, managing budgets, cost control, and profitability, ensuring delivery aligns with programme and financial targets.
Prepare and submit Applications for Payment, assess and price variations independently, and maintain accurate financial reporting for each project.
Oversee subcontractor packages to ensure compliance with contracts, quality standards, and programme deadlines.
Administer contracts, manage variations and claims, and proactively identify and mitigate commercial risks.
Lead project meetings with clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships and supporting commercial decision-making.
Knowledge of dry lining, SFS, or façade systems preferred
Confident decision-making and independent package management
Strong communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
Good contractual awareness and commercial acumen
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
Ambition to develop professionally (HNC/Degree progression supported)
Clear progression pathway to Senior Surveyor
