Location: Ireland Salary: E85k to E90k per annum plus package

I am working for a very large Project Management/Consultants who are providing cost management services for a large-scale High -tech facility project in Ireland.

They now require an MEP QA Manager, who will be part of the cost management teamThe MEP QA Manager will primarily focus on establishing and implementing the QA Auditing/Controls on the change order process for mechanical, process and electrical packages. Once established, the management/implementation may not be a full time role and any available time would be spent reviewing and agreeing change orders with the contractors. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to establish systems, review and analyse outputs and implement change where issues are identified. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change control and management and bring these skills to the role to ensure the highest standards and quality among the wider team and improving delivery, processes and efficiency where required

Objectives of The Role

Ensure existing procedure is fit for purpose – suggesting changes where appropriat

Carefully monitor complaint and nonconformance processes through tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions

Document quality assurance activities including internal audits completed and issues arising

Develop new standards/Compliance procedures where necessary

Identify training needs and take action to ensure compliance

Respond to clients requests in a timely and accurate manner

Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner

 Primary Role and Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, audit change orders to ensure consistency around

Oversight of Qtys  - BIM / CostX /Field Validation

Method of Measurement Correctly Applied

Contracted Rates correctly applied

Completion of the check list of activities required in advance of closing a change order

Review of Star rates and how established / Agreed

Documenting, and report quality levels and issues arising

Review/ Analyze change orders for consistency

Develop or update procedures to ensure suitability

Maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues

Develop mitigation to eliminate recurring issues

Excellent communication skills

Strong team player
