Junior Quantity Surveyor – Dublin – General Construction

We are currently partnering with a Fit-out contractor with proven success across Europe on Data Centre Projects, Roofing contracts and many more. With capabilities and expertise across the whole construction sector they are looking to expand their team with a Junior Quantity Surveyor working in their head offices in Dublin.

Responsibilities

•    Assist in Project Cost Management
Support senior QS staff in managing project budgets, tracking costs, and preparing valuations for ongoing fit-out and drylining works across multiple sites.
•    Measurement & Take-Offs
Carry out accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications for tendering, procurement, and interim valuations, ensuring alignment with project scopes.
•    Procurement Support
Assist with the preparation of tender packages for subcontractors and suppliers, analysing quotes and supporting the negotiation of best-value procurement deals.
•    On-Site Financial Monitoring
Liaise with site teams to monitor progress, assess variations, and help prepare interim payment applications and final accounts under the direction of senior QS staff.
•    Documentation & Compliance
Ensure all project-related commercial documentation is up to date and properly filed, including contracts, change orders, and payment notices, in line with company procedures and relevant legislation.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification
Must have 1+ years postgrad experience
Must be based within commutable distance of head offices

Benefits

€35,000 - €50,000 + Benefits
