Mechanical Package Manager – Data Centre – Finland

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organization, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Manager join our team. This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland.

Responsibilities

Coordination of Mechanical Packages:
Lead and manage the delivery of mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, chilled water, CRAC units, fire suppression) across all project stages, ensuring alignment with programme milestones and design specifications.
Subcontractor Management:
Oversee mechanical subcontractors on-site, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and contractual obligations, while driving performance to meet tight project schedules.
Interface Management:
Coordinate mechanical works with other trades (electrical, civil, BMS) to resolve clashes and ensure seamless integration across all MEP disciplines.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Ensure mechanical installations are executed to the highest quality and in line with Finnish regulations, project specifications, and client expectations. Lead inspections and support commissioning activities.
Reporting & Progress Tracking:
Maintain accurate progress reports, identify risks or delays early, and communicate status updates to project management and stakeholders regularly.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification
Must have 5+ years’ experience managing mechanical packages on Data Centres or similar large-scale construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Finland

Benefits

€90,000 - €95,000 + Full Rotational Package
