Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor undertaking a new build data centre schemes across Northern & Central Europe. This organisation undertakes a full turnkey solution constructing these facilities from the initial design phase through groundworks, build through to the M&E installation, fit out and handover. Company turnover is currently €1.3bn and they continue to grow 10% - 15% per year. The need now exists for now seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to join the project team delivering a €500m+ Data Centre in Sweden The MEP Project Manager will take full ownership of mechanical, electrical, and public health packages across major workstreams, managing subcontractors and driving coordinated delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality standards. Reporting to the Project Director, they will interface closely with design teams, specialist contractors, client representatives, and internal stakeholders to ensure MEP integration at every stage. • Oversee end-to-end delivery of MEP works on a fast-track hyperscale data centre project
• Manage coordination between mechanical, electrical, and public health disciplines
• Lead subcontractor management including scope definition, progress monitoring, and quality assurance
• Collaborate with BIM, design, and planning teams to align technical delivery with programme requirements
• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations, local building codes, and client standards
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to MEP packages
• Contribute to commissioning strategy and handover readiness
• Proven track record in MEP project management on major mission-critical or large-scale commercial/industrial builds
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure on fast-paced, technically complex programmes
• Willingness to be based in Sweden full-time; relocation support is provided
• A Building Services / Electrical Engineering Degree or an extensive trade background
• Minimum 5 years plus experience in a site-based MEP role and experience working on hyperscale Data Centre projects
