Our Client a well established M&E contractor is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager working on a commercial, retail, healthcare and mixed use projects in West Lonon & Middlesex areas. The desired candidate will be qualified with a min 3 years M&E focussed surveying experience and strong knowledge of M&E measurement, take offs and subcontracts, preferably from experience gained within the built environment on commercial, healthcare and mixed use project sector.
Your responsibilities will include preparing early stage budgets and detailed cost plans, advising on procurement strategy, preparing tender and contracts documents, including bills of quantities, certifying progress claims and payments to contractors against work completed including valuing completed work and compiling application for payment by preparing monthly cost and value reports, including project cost and programme forecasts, overseeing of Sub-contract accounts, including negotiation of variation accounts, preparing and issuing payment certificates and final accounts. Additional responsibilities will include liaising with and supporting the accounts functions, reviewing of Supplier and Sub-contract accounts, including variation accounts, overseeing of supplier orders and assisting the buyers with negotiation of large ticket items.
The role is offered on an ongoing contract basis with immediate starts and is a combination of work from home and on-site a couple of days a week and will ideally suit someone who is within driving distances of Berkshire & West London.
