Are you a skilled Logistics Manager seeking an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in Sweden? We are currently recruiting for a reputable engineering firm involved in a cutting-edge data center project.

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Construction Manager, the selected candidate will assume responsibility for planning, coordinating, overseeing, and executing all aspects of material and plant control and movement for the mechanical package within a high-value, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will lead a team comprising storekeepers, cleaners, and drivers, and will be tasked with generating regular progress reports, including material and plant inventories and goods receipting. The Logistic Manager will collaborate with the in-house mechanical team and external project stakeholders to strategize and coordinate site logistics.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Assist the Project Management Team (PMT) in formulating and implementing the project logistic plan.
  • Manage and provide support to the project construction team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to oversee multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
  • Possess knowledge of material control procedures.
  • Familiarity with mechanical components, such as valves and pipe fittings, is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Hold relevant qualifications and/or possess experience in logistics/material control.
  • Experience with SAP Goods receipting is advantageous but not essential.
  • Hold rigging and manual handling qualifications.
  • Essential to possess a Lift AP qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the on-site logistics team in consultation with the construction team(s).
  • Receive, unload, and store plant, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of plant, materials, and equipment in the store and record goods in/goods out, producing periodic stock reports.
  • Manage the pipe spool yard.
  • Coordinate the distribution of materials across the project site in collaboration with the construction team.
  • Attend site meetings, both internal and external, as required.
  • Review and contribute to rigging and lifting RAMS.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
