EHS Advisor – Data Centre Projects (Sweden) We are working with a leading engineering contractor delivering major data centre projects across Europe. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced EHS Advisor to join their on-site project team in Sweden. This is a site-based safety role responsible for driving environmental, health, and safety compliance across a large-scale data centre construction project. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and management to ensure safe systems of work are implemented and maintained at all times. This role suits an experienced EHS professional who can take ownership of site safety performance and promote a strong safety culture in a fast-paced mission critical environment. • Ensure compliance with company Safety Management System and project EHS plans • Degree in Health & Safety or related discipline
€75,000 - €90,000 + Package | Accommodation + Rotation + Travel + €1,200 Net Living Allowance
Key Responsibilities
• Support development of construction stage health & safety plans
• Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and safety walks
• Monitor, report, and analyse key EHS performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and statutory requirements
• Review and support RAMS, method statements, and permits to work
• Oversee COSHH assessments and hazardous substance control
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with site safety procedures
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training support
• Maintain statutory inspection records and compliance documentation
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
• Track corrective actions and ensure close-out of safety issues
• Support continuous improvement of site safety performance
About You
• 3+ years’ experience in construction EHS roles
• Strong experience on large-scale construction or data centre projects preferred
• Strong understanding of HSE legislation and site safety systems
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple safety priorities on fast-paced sites
• Proactive, detail-focused, and safety-driven approach
