QAQC Lead - Data Centre - Finland

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced QAQC Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Sines, Portugal.

Responsibilities

•   Lead the Project Quality Management System On-Site
Take full responsibility for implementing and maintaining the project QA/QC system across all construction activities. Ensure procedures, inspection plans, and quality processes are effectively applied from groundworks through to commissioning and handover.
•   Oversee Inspection and Test Activities Across Disciplines
Manage all site inspections, witness testing, and hold point sign-offs across MEP or CSA works. Ensure works are installed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs, with no deviations going unchallenged.
•   Drive Non-Conformance Management and Close-Out
Identify, record, and manage all non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring root cause analysis is completed and corrective/preventative actions are properly implemented and closed out in a timely manner.
•   Ensure Compliance with Project, Client, and Regulatory Standards
Maintain strict adherence to project quality requirements, client expectations, and relevant industry standards. Work closely with site teams to embed a “right first time” culture and reduce rework across all packages.
•   Coordinate Quality Documentation and Handover Dossiers
Oversee the collation, tracking, and finalisation of all quality records including inspection reports, test certificates, material approvals, and as-built documentation to support a complete and compliant handover package.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Portugal
