Junior EHS Advisor

Junior EHS Advisor- Limerick 

To €45,000 DOE + Package 

Our client, an established engineering services contractor involved in complex technical projects across Europe, primarily involved in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centres with core division that includes Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection is now actively seeking for a dedicated Junior EHS Advisor. As a Junior EHS Advisor you will support the implementation and maintenance of EHS programs and policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.  

Key Requirements & Responsibilities: 

• Carry out regular environment, health and safety inspections and audits of work sites identifying any issues/hazards reporting to the EHS Manager. 

• Report and record any incidents, accidents, and near misses as well as determining causes and reliable preventive measures. 

• Ensuring adherence to EHS standards, regulations/legislations. 

• Assist in maintaining regular detailed EHS records and documentations including internal and external audits. 

• Assist in the development of emergency response plans. 

• Support in environmental impact assessment & initiatives. 

• Assist with the health & safety inductions for new employees. 

• Third level EHS qualification is essential. 

• At least 1 year experience in a similar role within construction will be beneficial. 

• Strong knowledge of updated EHS standards & regulations. 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
