Location: Dublin Salary: €85.000 - €95.000 + package

Health and Safety Lead - Dublin City Centre 

As an EHS Lead, you will play a critical role in our project implementation and delivery processes. Collaborating closely with a diverse team of engineers and industry experts, your primary objective will be to ensure the safe completion of projects. This role will be based full-time onsite at a project located in Dublin City Centre.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular formal site audits and inspections as outlined in the Safety Management system/PSCS.
  • Participation in Safety Leadership Tours.
  • Coaching and mentoring staff to foster a positive safety culture.
  • Engaging in external Quadra EHS Audits and ensuring timely closeout.
  • Reviewing RAMS/Subcontractor documentation.
  • Communicating audit findings to site management and Commercial EHS Manager and assisting in issue closure in accordance with company policy.
  • Assessing the EHS function to identify areas for improvement and develop new initiatives.
  • Investigating and analyzing incidents to identify root causes.
  • Providing training and information to the workforce using appropriate training aids and media, and promoting initiatives for accident prevention and increased EHS awareness.
  • Demonstrating thorough knowledge of relevant environmental health & safety legislation.
  • Managing, mentoring, and promoting the professional development of a team of EHS professionals.
  • Maintaining management systems in accordance with ISO 45001/14001 and Safe T Cert.
  • Representing the company professionally with clients, subcontractors, and third parties.

The successful candidate will report to the Commercial EHS Manager/Group EHS Manager.

Skills and Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Essential Level 7 EHS qualification.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the Construction Sector is essential.
  • A Mechanical background would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
