Electrical Engineer – Finland 

Our client is a multi-national construction and engineering organisation. They are headquartered in the USA and active across Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East, with a turnover in excess of €6bn and 9,000 permanent employees globally. They work across a diverse range of market sectors (with a very heavy tech focus) including: Data Centres, Semiconductors, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology, Photovoltaics, Battery Plants & Speciality Chemicals. They offer a full turnkey service for their clients from design, construction and handover across the full range of CSA (civil, structural, architectural), MEP (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning works  

The need now exists for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the delivery team working on a hyper-scale data centre project in Finland 

Responsibilities will include:
•    Produce and develop designs for electrical services. 
•    Prepare estimates for the implementation of electrical services.  Carry out site surveys to identify the client’s needs and requirements making recommendations as necessary
•    Ensure that designs meet user requirements, cost limits and time scales.
•    Contribute to the preparation of Health and Safety method statements and risk assessments in respect of construction work as required by the project to meet current legislation.
•    Co-ordinate with clients, other professions and members of the projects and maintenance teams
•    Monitor and comment on subcontractors work as may be required on individual projects
•    Contribute to the engineering team by attending as and when required regular team meetings and courses to ensure that changes in legislation and company policies are fully complied with.
•    Provide a high-quality service in line with the company’s quality assurance procedures and assist in the review of standards and procedures to ensure a continuing improvement in the service provided to the company’s clients

Key experience: 
A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar relevant field
At least 2 years experience in a similar role and field, ideally within Data Centres

In return our client can offer negotiable basic plus full rotational package consisting of housing, car, travel, large mixture of allowances. Rotational pattern of 10/4 (days)
