Planner - Data Centre - London
Join us as a Planner, where you'll bring your expertise in planning and scheduling to contribute to various project teams and functional disciplines. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a highly confidential project, developing comprehensive implementation strategies, incorporating deliverables into project schedules, and preparing project life cycle and master schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and implementation of project scheduling processes, tools, and deliverables.
- Lead planning sessions and project schedule reporting with project and organizational management at all levels.
- Collaborate with contractors, project team members, performing work groups, and systems planners to develop and integrate activity durations and logic sequences necessary for project work.
- Lead manpower loading/resource analysis and develop status-earned man-hour progress curves as needed.
- Oversee planning coverage for various project aspects, including show/ride concept development, design, production, installation, test and adjust, programming, and core building construction.
- Prepare schedule reporting specifications for contract bid packages and determine Schedule Milestones and/or Key Dates for inclusion in the Contract Specification.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering/construction planning and scheduling or themed entertainment planning/coordination, with a combination of the following:
- Critical Path Method scheduling experience using scheduling software.
- Construction, production, and/or design experience.
- Good understanding of practical project control applications and earned value measurement.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field.
