Project Manager – Commercial – Birmingham We are currently partnering with a globally recognised construction consultancy with a proven track record in a variety of industries. They have a healthy pipeline of works for years to come and due to continued growth are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Birmingham to aid with various commercial construction projects. Manage commercial construction projects from inception through to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality — across both new build and refurbishment schemes.
• Client Representation & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the key interface between the client and project team. Lead meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, and provide clear communication across consultants, contractors, and end users.
• Programme & Cost Oversight:
Monitor project programmes, track key milestones, and work closely with cost consultants and contractors to manage budgets, variations, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design & Procurement Coordination:
Oversee pre-construction activities including design team management, planning submissions, procurement strategy, and tender evaluations. Ensure design intent aligns with client objectives and budget constraints.
• Reporting & Governance:
Produce regular project reports and dashboard updates. Ensure compliance with contract administration procedures, governance processes, and documentation standards in line with consultancy best practice.
Must have previous consultancy experience on commercial construction projects
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
