Location: Norway, Norway Salary: €100,000-€120,000 + Package

Mechanical Lead - Data Centres - Norway

We are currently partnering with a Tier-2 Design and Build contractor specialising in Data Centres across Europe. Due to continuous growth, they are looking to expand their team further with an experienced Mechanical Lead in Norway.

Responsibilities

•    Mechanical Systems Oversight: Lead all mechanical works across the project lifecycle, including HVAC, CRAC/CRAH units, chilled water systems, and other critical infrastructure, ensuring design intent is met during installation and commissioning.
•    Design Review & Coordination: Liaise with design consultants and subcontractors to review mechanical drawings, identify conflicts, and ensure compatibility with architectural and electrical elements within the data centre environment.
•    Commissioning & Performance Testing: Drive the mechanical commissioning process, including pre-functional testing, integrated systems testing, and handover documentation, in collaboration with commissioning agents and client stakeholders.
•    Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure mechanical works are installed to the highest standards, complying with client specifications, local regulations, and data centre performance requirements (e.g., ASHRAE, Uptime Institute).
•    Construction Monitoring & Progress Tracking: Monitor on-site mechanical progress against the construction schedule, manage subcontractor performance, and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays or rework.

Requirements

Must have 3+ Years experience in a similar role
Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
Data Centre experience is preferred
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Norway

Benefits

€100,000 - €120,000 + Full rotational Package
