A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship data centre project in Frankfurt.

This is a senior commercial leadership role, responsible for managing the full commercial function on a large-scale data centre build. You will oversee cost control, subcontractor management, and financial reporting, while working closely with senior project stakeholders.

You will play a key role in driving commercial performance and ensuring the successful financial delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead all commercial activities across the project lifecycle
• Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and accounts
• Oversee cost reporting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Lead cost value reconciliation (CVR) and monthly reporting
• Manage variations, claims, and change control processes
• Provide commercial support to project and site teams
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
• Ensure contract compliance and manage contractual obligations
• Oversee preparation and agreement of final accounts
• Mentor and support junior commercial team members

Requirements
• 7+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
• Proven experience at Senior QS level on large construction projects
• Strong background with Tier 1 contractors or major projects
• Experience delivering data centre or mission-critical projects
• Excellent knowledge of contract management and cost control
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple packages and commercial priorities

Desirable
• Experience working on European projects or rotational roles
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Knowledge of FIDIC or international contract forms
• Experience managing large commercial teams
