Senior Planner - Data Centres - Norway

We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing European contractor delivering world-class data centre and high-tech projects across the Nordics and Western Europe. They have played key roles in delivering some of Europe’s most impressive Data Centre projects to date and are now looking to further expand their team with an experienced Senior Planner in Norway.

Responsibilities

•   Programme Development & Management:
Create, maintain, and monitor detailed construction programmes (using Primavera P6 or similar), covering all phases from design through to commissioning, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and project milestones.
•   Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
Track project progress against the baseline schedule, identify delays or risks, and produce regular reports and dashboards for senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
•   Look-Ahead Planning & Coordination:
Lead the development of 3-6 week look-ahead programmes in coordination with site teams, ensuring critical path activities and interfaces are clearly identified and understood.
•   Risk & Change Management:
Assess programme impacts of design changes, procurement issues, or site delays, and support commercial teams with time impact assessments (TIAs) and extension of time (EOT) claims when necessary.
•   Stakeholder & Subcontractor Interface:
Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure planning inputs are accurate, realistic, and communicated effectively across all parties.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role
Must have previous Data Centre construction or similar large-scale construction experience
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Norway
