Pre-Construction Manager – Industrial– Vienna We are currently partnering with a globally present Main Contractor who specialise in Industrial, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical and advanced manufacturing projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to join their team in Vienna and take ownership of the whole pre-construction element on this Industrial construction project. Responsibilities • Pre-Construction Management – Lead all pre-construction activities for major industrial projects, ensuring design, cost, and programme objectives are aligned with client requirements before project commencement. Requirements Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role working for a Main Contractor on large scale industrial projects Benefits €85,000 - €90,000 per annum + Package
• Design Development & Coordination – Oversee the design process from concept to construction drawings, working with architects, engineers, and specialist consultants to ensure compliance with industrial standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Estimating & Cost Planning – Direct the preparation of detailed cost estimates, budgets, and value engineering exercises, securing competitive bids from supply chain partners and ensuring financial accuracy.
• Programme & Planning – Develop preliminary construction programmes, logistics strategies, and resource plans using industry-standard tools to ensure deliverability and sequencing efficiency.
• Procurement Strategy – Support procurement activities by preparing tender packages, assessing subcontractor capabilities, and contributing to selection decisions to ensure robust supply chain engagement.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Act as the key liaison between the client, design team, and internal departments during pre-construction, providing clear reporting and facilitating informed decision-making.
Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have excellent communication skills (Both written & Oral)
Must be based within commutable distance of Vienna or be willing to relocate there for the duration of project
