My client is the leading specialist dry wall and glass portioning company that designs, manufactures and installs partitioning to the highest possible standards. Due to a recent influx of projects in the buoyant London market my client now requires Project Managers to join their production team and become part of the success story.
Role and Responsibilities:
•Working with the Project Manager and in-house Design Team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget •Managing projects from inception through to completion on one or more depending on size and complexity •Assist in the preparation of initial budgets and cost plans •Prepare tender packages, analyse and compare on quotations received, make recommendations for appointment •Complete sub-contract documentation in accordance with company procedures •Manage work packages from appointment through to final account including certifying payments and issuing the appropriate notices as required by the sub-contract •Monitoring works packages against budget, assessing variation claims and preparing reports for Client •Submitting timely requests for payment, agreement of these with Client’s representative where appropriate and ensuring payments are received in accordance with agreed timescales •Monitoring project progress (in conjunction with Contracts Manager) and issuing appropriate notices to Client •Internal cost reporting
•Quantity Surveyors will ideally come from a specialist sub-contracting background and ideally within the partitioning, dry wall, dry lining and suspended ceilings •Quantity Surveyors must have experience in lump Sum, JCT and D&B contracts and ideally have run projects as number one up to the value of £1M. •Quantity Surveyors will have a minimum of 6 years of experience and have a stable employment history •Quantity Surveyors will ideally come from a background in fast track fit projects •Quantity Surveyors will be degree qualified or HNC equivalent
