Setting Out Engineer- Rosslare
€55,000-60,000 DOE + Package
Due to our client's continued expansion, we are actively seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to be working in their projects based in Rosslare, Ireland. Our client is a Tier 1 contractor committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers high quality services. The company is currently involved in complex technical projects in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centre schemes across Europe. As Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the projects are executed accurately and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Knowledge in surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS and automatic levels.
Interpret construction plans and drawings and ensure that work is carried out to specification.
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest standards.
Provide technical advice and guidance to the construction team.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction.
Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and workforce productivity.
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Main contractor experience in civils/ infrastructure is an advantage.
Proficiency in surveying equipment and softwares.
Excellent communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.
