Site Manager – Vienna – Data Centre

We are currently partnering with an internationally renowned subcontractor specialising in civils, groundworks, substructures etc. They currently have an ongoing project in Vienna working for a well-known main contractor on a hyperscale Data Centre project. On this site, the need now exists for an experienced Site Manager to join them.

Responsibilities

•   Site Supervision & Daily Operations: Lead the on-site delivery of groundworks, foundations, and RC frame packages, ensuring all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme targets.
•   Subcontractor & Workforce Coordination: Manage site crews, plant operators, and subcontractors, providing clear instruction, overseeing productivity, and ensuring alignment with project specifications and sequencing requirements.
•   Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Enforce strict HSE standards, conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings, carry out site inspections, and ensure compliance with Austrian regulations and project-specific safety protocols.
•   Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight: Review drawings, reinforce technical accuracy on site, inspect works for quality, and resolve construction issues promptly to maintain the highest workmanship standards for groundworks and RC structures.
•   Progress Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Monitor progress against the programme, manage materials and logistics, maintain accurate site records, and provide regular updates to project management, engineers, and the main contractor team.

Requirements

Must have 6+ years’ in a similar role preferably with a Subcontractor focusing on Groundworks, RC Frames and similar packages
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Austria
