Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor undertaking complex new build projects across Northern & Central Europe including Commercial, Industrial, Data Centre, and Logistics developments. This organisation delivers full turnkey solutions — from initial design through groundworks, civils, structures/superstructure, M&E installation, fit-out, and final handover. Company turnover currently exceeds €1bn, and the business continues to grow steadily year-on-year. As the Senior Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful execution of the project, reporting directly to the Regional Director. You will lead a multidisciplinary project team and oversee all phases of construction through to commissioning and client handover, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance. As they expand their operations in Germany, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a €180m hyper-scale data centre new build in Frankfurt. This major development forms part of a wider European technology infrastructure programme, representing a flagship scheme within the company’s continental portfolio.
• Lead the delivery of a hyper-scale data centre from construction through commissioning and handover
• Manage all aspects of project performance: programme, cost, quality, and safety
• Coordinate closely with the client, design teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee procurement strategy, subcontractor management, and contractual compliance
• Implement project controls, progress reporting, and risk management processes
• Provide leadership and mentoring to a high-performing on-site delivery team
• 10+ years’ experience in large-scale construction, with at least 3 years in a senior project leadership role
• Proven track record delivering data centre, high-tech industrial, or mission-critical facilities over €100M
• Strong knowledge of EU construction standards, safety regulations, and permitting processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage
