Senior MEP Estimator - Data Centres - Dublin

We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing European contractor delivering world-class data centre and high-tech projects across the Nordics and Western Europe. They have played key roles in delivering some of Europe’s most impressive Data Centre projects to date and are now looking to further expand their team with an experienced Senior MEP Estimator in Dublin.

Responsibilities

•   MEP Cost Estimation & Analysis
Prepare detailed and accurate mechanical and electrical estimates for large-scale data centre projects, analysing drawings, specifications, and project scope to develop comprehensive cost breakdowns.
•   Tender Preparation & Coordination
Lead the preparation of tender documentation, proposals, and bid submissions; collaborate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure all technical and commercial requirements are met.
•   Subcontractor & Supplier Management
Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring scope alignment, competitive pricing, and technical compliance with project requirements.
•   Value Engineering & Risk Assessment
Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative solutions during the pre-construction phase; assess and report on commercial risks, assumptions, and contingencies.
•   Benchmarking & Cost Database Management
Maintain and update historical cost data and market intelligence to support accurate forecasting and continuous improvement of estimating practices.
•   Stakeholder Liaison & Reporting
Work closely with project managers, design leads, and senior leadership to present estimates, clarify assumptions, and provide input to tender reviews and client presentations.

Requirements

Must have relevant Degree level qualification or equivalent trades’ background
Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin
