Senior Mechanical Engineer – Data Centre – Sweden

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Sweden.

Responsibilities

•   Mechanical Systems Leadership
Oversee the design, coordination, and installation of mechanical services including chilled water, CRAC/CRAH units, cooling systems, and ventilation networks, ensuring delivery to the highest technical standards.
•   Design Coordination & Technical Assurance
Work closely with design consultants, subcontractors, and in-house teams to review drawings, resolve clashes, and verify constructability in line with client specifications and project requirements.
•   Quality & Compliance Management
Monitor on-site installations to ensure compliance with design intent, QA/QC standards, and safety regulations, lead inspections and support commissioning readiness reviews.
•   Interface & Progress Coordination
Collaborate with electrical, civil, and commissioning teams to manage interfaces and ensure mechanical systems are delivered on schedule and fully integrated with wider project milestones.
•   Continuous Improvement & Team Mentorship
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, driving best practice, innovation, and continuous improvement across all project stages.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar position on large scale construction projects (Preferably Data Centres or Pharmaceutical construction projects)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden

Benefits

€90,000 - €110,000 + Full rotational Package (including rotation, Flights, €250 net a week overseas allowance, Accommodation etc.)
