Senior Electrical Engineer – Milan – Data Centre

We are currently partnering with a bespoke Fire, Security and IT Solutions design, installation and support provider operation on Major Construction and Mission Critical projects across Europe. Due to continued success, they are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join them on a Data Centre Project in Milan.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership
Provide expert oversight of all electrical design and installation activities, ensuring systems meet project requirements, client specifications, and international standards.
Design and Coordination Management
Lead the review and coordination of LV/MV power, lighting, containment, earthing, and backup systems, resolving technical issues and driving design integration with other disciplines.
Site Execution Oversight
Supervise and support electrical site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Testing and Commissioning
Plan, manage, and witness testing and commissioning activities to verify that electrical systems are fully operational, compliant, and ready for client handover.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
Champion safe working practices, ensuring adherence to company HSE policies, method statements, and local regulatory requirements at all times.
Reporting and Technical Support
Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and technical records while providing strategic input to project management and design teams.

Requirements

Must have relevant electrical engineering degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
Must have 5+ years experience in an electrical engineering position on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Italy

Benefits

€70,000 - €80,000 + Full Rotational Package (including Flights, Accommodation, rotation, overseas allowance etc.)
