They specialise in delivering major Mechanical & Electrical packages for Tier 1 main contractors on mission-critical technology projects, including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical facilities, Semi-Conductor plants and heavy industrial schemes. They are seeking a highly experienced MEP Commissioning Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their commissioning team on a large-scale Data Centre project in Sweden. This is a key role requiring deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in commissioning complex electrical and integrated MEP systems.
• Lead and oversee commissioning activities for electrical systems and associated MEP services
• Develop and review commissioning plans, schedules, method statements and test documentation
• Execute and validate testing of electrical plant, LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, control systems and critical infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, controls, QA/QC and project management teams to ensure system integration
• Coordinate subcontractors, manage commissioning milestones and support client witnessing
• Identify technical issues, implement solutions and ensure all systems meet performance and safety standards
• Provide input into handover documentation and final sign-off processes
• Extensive commissioning experience within MEP, electrical building services or mission-critical environments
• Strong electrical engineering background with in-depth knowledge of data centre or large industrial systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead commissioning packages and interface with multiple stakeholders
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working on international projects and based in Sweden for the project duration
