A leading European engineering and construction specialist is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a large-scale data centre project in Frankfurt.
You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day mechanical works on site, coordinating subcontractors, managing safety and quality, and ensuring installation activities are delivered in line with the project programme.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day mechanical installation activities on site
Manage site safety in coordination with the project safety team
Coordinate works with other trades to ensure “right first time” installation
Track progress against programme and manage manpower levels
Manage subcontractors, including weekly coordination meetings
Implement and manage snagging and punch list processes
Issue labour hours and support time tracking
Attend site, planning, coordination, and handover meetings
Prepare and issue weekly progress reports and look-ahead schedules
Coordinate material deliveries in line with the construction programme
Assign work, manage productivity, and meet installation targets
Ensure all works comply with safety, quality, and technical standards
Maintain site records, reports, and photographic diaries
Requirements
Trade background with 5–10 years’ experience supervising large mechanical installation teams
Proven experience delivering large-scale construction or data centre projects
Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements
Experience working in a design & build environment
Good technical understanding of mechanical systems (electrical awareness beneficial)
Basic IT skills for reporting and documentation
