Mechanical Supervisor – Data Centres – Zurich

Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Coordination: Lead and manage all on-site mechanical activities, ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.
Subcontractor Management: Supervise mechanical subcontractors and trades, monitoring performance, resolving site issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Quality & Compliance: Conduct regular inspections, review testing and commissioning procedures, and ensure all mechanical works meet statutory regulations and client requirements.
Progress Reporting: Provide accurate daily/weekly reports to the project management team, tracking progress against schedule and highlighting potential risks or delays.
Documentation & Handover: Maintain up-to-date site records, including risk assessments, method statements, and as-built documentation, supporting smooth project closeout and handover.

Requirements

Must have Relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large-scale construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Switzerland
German language skills are preferred but not essential

Benefits

€70,000 - €90,000 + Full Rotational Package
