Our client is a leading international contractor delivering complex, large-scale construction projects across Europe. Due to continued growth within the data centre sector, our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Lead to join the delivery team on a major data centre project in Denmark.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical quality assurance and quality control activities on site, ensuring installations are delivered in full compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. Working closely with project management, MEP teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, the Mechanical QA/QC Lead will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across all mechanical systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure all mechanical installations are inspected, tested, and documented in line with design intent, programme requirements, and QA/QC procedures.
• Lead and manage all mechanical QA/QC activities on a large-scale data centre project in Denmark
• Inspect and verify mechanical installations including HVAC systems, chilled water systems, piping, ductwork, CRAH/CRAC units, and associated infrastructure
• Ensure all mechanical works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and checklists
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project quality requirements
• Coordinate inspections with client representatives, consultants, and third-party inspectors
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation including inspection records, test packs, and handover documentation
• Identify, track, and close out non-conformances (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system handover from a quality perspective
• Promote and enforce a strong quality culture across all mechanical works on site
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company procedures
• Assist in audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
