Mechanical Package Manager – Data Centre – Sines, Portugal
Please note this position is open to EU Passport holders or candidates with RTW in Portugal only.

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Manager to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Sines, Portugal.

Responsibilities

•   Mechanical Package Delivery
Take full responsibility for the delivery of the mechanical works package, including HVAC, chilled water, pipework, fuel systems, and associated infrastructure, ensuring compliance with programme, quality, and client data centre standards.
•   Subcontractor & Supplier Management
Manage mechanical subcontractors and suppliers, coordinating scope, resources, sequencing, and interfaces with electrical, CSA, and commissioning teams to ensure efficient and coordinated delivery.
•   Programme, Cost & Progress Control
Drive mechanical programme performance, tracking progress against key milestones, managing short-term planning, and supporting commercial teams with cost control, change management, and package reporting.
•   Quality, Safety & Technical Compliance
Ensure all mechanical works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, QA/QC requirements, Portuguese and European regulations, and HSE standards, promoting a strong safety-first culture on site.
•   Testing, Commissioning & Handover Support
Lead mechanical completion activities, coordinating testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing (IST) readiness, ensuring systems are fully prepared for client inspections and phased handover.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Portugal
