Mechanical Construction Manager – Data Centre – Amsterdam

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Amsterdam, Holland.

Responsibilities

•   Project Planning & Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of all mechanical construction activities, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
•   Team Management & Supervision: Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers, subcontractors, and labour, providing guidance, training, and ensuring high standards of workmanship throughout the project.
•   Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all mechanical installations (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, etc.) meet industry standards, regulations, and client specifications, conducting inspections and quality checks as necessary.
•   Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets and schedules for mechanical systems, ensuring that costs and timelines are adhered to, and proactively address any potential delays or cost overruns.
•   Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact for all mechanical-related construction matters, providing regular updates to senior management and clients on progress, issues, and any changes affecting the project.

Requirements

Must have relevant Mechanical Engineering degree or similar
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in the Netherlands
