Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor undertaking complex new build projects across Europe and the Middle East. Projects include Commercial, Industrial, Data Centres, and Logistics. This organisation delivers full turnkey solutions — constructing these facilities from the initial design phase through groundworks, civils, structures/superstructure, M&E installation, fit-out, and handover. Company turnover currently exceeds €1bn, and the business continues to grow steadily year-on-year.

As they expand their footprint in Northern Europe, they are now seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee the mechanical and electrical delivery of a hyper-scale data centre new build in Northern Denmark. This is a technically demanding and fast-paced Tier IV project — a key development within Europe’s rapidly expanding digital infrastructure network.

As M&E Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full MEP scope from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. Reporting to the Project Director and working closely with client representatives and consultants, you will ensure all building services systems are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of M&E systems on a large-scale data centre project
• Coordinate design development, procurement, and installation activities for mechanical and electrical packages
• Oversee subcontractor performance, technical compliance, and quality control
• Work with clients and design teams to ensure integration of MEP systems meets Tier III/IV standards
• Plan and manage system testing, commissioning, and validation phases
• Drive project controls, progress reporting, and risk management for M&E works
• Promote and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the on-site MEP delivery team

Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in large-scale M&E construction, with at least 3 years in a project management capacity
• Proven track record delivering data centre, high-tech, or mission-critical projects (€100M+)
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems integration within Tier III/IV facilities
• Experience working in Northern or Central Europe on complex international builds
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
• Fluent in English; Danish or another Nordic language is advantageous
• Eligible to work in Denmark
