The Role Requirements What’s on Offer This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Lead to take ownership of a major electrical scope on one of Europe’s most advanced data centre developments.
Following a recent project win, our client is now seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to take responsibility for the delivery of the electrical scope on a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany. This is a senior leadership role overseeing complex, high-value electrical packages on a technically demanding, fast-paced project.
Reporting to the Project Director / MEP Lead, the Electrical Project Lead will have overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of the electrical works from design through to commissioning and handover. Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the delivery of all electrical systems on the project
• Managing electrical subcontractors and specialist suppliers
• Overseeing electrical design development and technical compliance
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and safety requirements
• Coordinating closely with CSA, mechanical, and commissioning teams
• Managing interfaces, technical queries, and design change
• Supporting procurement and commercial teams with technical input
• Driving progress, resolving issues, and reporting to senior project leadership
• Supporting testing, commissioning, and client handover activities
• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Extensive experience delivering electrical packages on large-scale projects
• Strong background in data centres, mission-critical, pharma, or highly serviced environments
• Proven leadership experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices
• Strong understanding of health & safety and quality management systems
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to be site-based in Frankfurt (rotational or expat basis)
