Electrical Package Manager

Our client is an established engineering and construction main contractor delivering major new-build data centre schemes across Northern and Central Europe. Offering a full turnkey delivery model—from initial design and groundworks through to construction, M&E installation, fit-out and final handover—they continue to expand rapidly, with a turnover of €1.3bn and growth of 10–15% year on year.

The Opportunity
The company is now seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join the delivery team for a €500m+ hyperscale Data Centre in Finland.

Role Overview
The Electrical Package Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of all electrical works on the project. This role will oversee subcontractor performance, quality, safety and progress to ensure the electrical package is delivered to specification, on time and in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Manage and coordinate all electrical installation activities on site
•    Oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with programme, quality, and safety standards
•    Review technical drawings, specifications, method statements and installation plans
•    Work closely with design, commissioning and project management teams to resolve technical issues
•    Monitor progress, report on milestones and manage any risks relating to electrical delivery
•    Lead electrical inspections, QA/QC processes and support handover documentation
•    Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with local regulations, client standards and industry best practice

Requirements:
•    Strong electrical engineering background with relevant qualifications
•    Proven experience managing electrical packages on large-scale construction or industrial projects (data centres preferred)
•    Excellent understanding of electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators and critical infrastructure
•    Strong communication, coordination and leadership skills
•    Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery in a fast-paced environment
