Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor undertaking a new build data centre schemes across Northern & Central Europe. This organisation undertakes a full turnkey solution constructing these facilities from the initial design phase through groundworks, build through to the M&E installation, fit out and handover. Company turnover is currently €1.3bn and they continue to grow 10% - 15% per year.

The need now exists for now seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join the project team delivering a €500m+ Data Centre in Finland

Responsibilities will include:
•   Management of sub-contractors including tracking progress against schedule
•   Ensure electrical works are completed in a safe manner in line with the company Health and Safety policy and standards
•   Management of the project electrical systems and equipment, tracking system installation to ensure it is compliant with specification and program needs
•   Completion of site quality inspections of the Electrical & CSA works to ensure the installation conforms to relevant requirements
•   Review of the site construction power system (Temporary Power) to ensure it is installed to meet ongoing construction and commissioning requirements
•   Chairing of regular meetings with all relevant project stakeholders as per project requirements
•   Coordinate that rooms and or areas meet the relevant CSA and MEP Quality standards and requirements for advanced Beneficial Use in line with the master construction program
•   To ensure stakeholders receive sufficient information needed to progress systems installation such that it allows for works progression in line with the master construction program
•   To review the master construction schedule and identify opportunity and sequencing to focus on work faces in terms of electrical and CSA scope which will ultimately enhance program delivery
•   Issue weekly progress & costs report

The ideal applicant will have:

A Building Services / Electrical Engineering Degree or an extensive trade background
Minimum 5 years plus experience in a site-based MEP role and experience working on hyperscale Data Centre projects

In return our client can offer a negotiable basic salary, bonus, allowances and full rotational package
