As Electrical Engineer, you’ll support the delivery of all electrical systems across the project, ensuring design compliance, installation quality, and coordination with the wider MEP and construction teams. You’ll work closely with subcontractors, design consultants, commissioning teams and client representatives to keep the project progressing safely, efficiently and to exacting standards.
• Assist in managing and coordinating all electrical works on site
• Review drawings, technical submittals and design documentation
• Support electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities
• Ensure works comply with project specifications, standards and QA procedures
• Work closely with MEP, civil and architectural teams to maintain coordination
• Monitor progress, report risks, and help drive programme performance
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and client engineers
• Support creation of handover documentation and commissioning reports
• Experience as an Electrical Engineer on large construction or MEP projects
• Background in data centres, industrial, pharmaceutical or mission-critical environments is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of electrical systems (LV/MV), distribution, backup power, testing and commissioning
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and schematics
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to work full-time in Portugal (relocation support typically provided)
