CSA Senior Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Project – Eemshaven, Netherlands

Location: Eemshaven, Netherlands
Salary: €85,000 - €90,000 + EU Allowance + Accommodation + Travel + Rotation

We are seeking an experienced CSA Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major data centre construction project in the Netherlands. This is an excellent opportunity to take full commercial responsibility for a high-value project, working closely with the project management and construction teams to deliver world-class results while maximising commercial returns and mitigating risks.

You will play a pivotal role in the financial management of civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) packages, ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the project.
• Manage tenders, subcontractor selection, and finalisation of orders.
• Prepare and agree on valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and cost control throughout the project.
• Work closely with the project team to support value engineering and design development.
• Maintain and protect the company’s commercial and contractual entitlements.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and project risks while maximising opportunities.
• Oversee documentation, insurance, warranties, and project administration.
• Support dispute resolution and commercial negotiations when required.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and CSA package expertise.
• Excellent knowledge of contract law, dispute resolution, and risk management.
• Proven experience working with JCT, NEC, or similar contract forms.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• EU passport and the ability to work in the Netherlands.
