Location: Finland, Finland Salary: €110,000-€120,000 + Full Rotational Package

Country HSE Manager - Data Centres - Finland

We are currently partnering with a Tier-2 Design and Build contractor specialising in Data Centres across Europe. Due to continuous growth, they are looking to expand their team further with an experienced Country HSE Manager in Finland.

Responsibilities

Strategic HSE Leadership:
Develop and implement national HSE strategies aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring a strong safety culture across all data centre projects in Finland from groundworks to commissioning.
Regulatory Compliance & Auditing:
Ensure full compliance with Finnish health, safety, and environmental laws, EU directives, and client requirements. Lead site inspections and internal audits, enforcing corrective actions where necessary.
Incident Management & Reporting:
Oversee all incident investigations, near-miss reports, and root cause analyses. Ensure timely reporting to stakeholders and government authorities, while driving continuous improvement across all projects.
Training & Competency Assurance:
Develop and roll out site-specific induction, toolbox talks, and specialised HSE training programmes to ensure all site personnel, subcontractors, and visitors meet competency standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Culture Building:
Act as the key HSE representative with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal project teams. Foster a proactive, zero-harm culture through leadership, mentorship, and visible safety presence across sites.

Requirements

Must have 10+ years’ experience in a Lead HSE Role
Must have experience on Data Centre construction projects or similar mission critical projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Finland

Benefits
