Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Authorised Person to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland.

Responsibilities

•   Manage Permit-to-Work and Isolation Activities
Oversee the full permit-to-work process for electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring isolations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and system energisation are carried out safely and in accordance with project and statutory requirements.
•   Ensure Compliance with Safety Regulations and Technical Standards
Verify that all works on high-voltage, low-voltage, and mechanical systems comply with Finnish regulations, industry standards, and client-specific safety protocols, safeguarding personnel and critical infrastructure.
•   Coordinate with Construction, Commissioning and MEP Teams
Work closely with site management, MEP leads, commissioning engineers, and subcontractors to plan isolations, system handovers, and controlled access to live areas, ensuring activities are sequenced safely and efficiently.
•   Maintain Accurate Documentation and System Records
Prepare and maintain isolation certificates, switching schedules, safety method statements, risk assessments, and all associated compliance documentation to support audits and client reporting.
•   Conduct Safety Briefings and Technical Oversight
Deliver toolbox talks, isolation briefings, and safety instructions for operatives carrying out works on electrical and mechanical systems, while providing technical oversight to ensure safe execution of all controlled activities.

Requirements

Must have valid and recognised AP qualifications
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on high voltage/large scale electrical projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Finland

Benefits
€80,000 - €100,000 + Full rotational Package (including €250 net a week allowance, Accommodation, Flights, rotation etc.)
