Our Clients a very reputable and leading multi-disciplinary international consultancy require a CAD BIM Manager for their London offices to join a busy team, working on commercial, residential and critical facilities projects.
The desired individual would possess an excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP with proven experience, ideally having worked on major design projects with a thorough understanding of the principles of BIM. Knowledge of Building Services design and experience of services co-ordination whilst leading the team is a must. The ability to work autonomously on several projects simultaneously, producing accurate drawings with an interest in developing design tools to enable more efficient and accurate production of project deliverables, is greatly desired.
Responsibilities would include project initiation, including establishing appropriate file structures and BIM standards. You will also assist with creating project teams and appropriate resources whilst taking responsibility for project delivery, management of modelling duties, co-ordinate modelling teams and ensure integration of modelling information with other disciplines. You would also produce management of drawn information in the appropriate format to meet project timescales whilst implementing quality control and ensure adherence to standards with consistency of approach across REVIT output.
Additional responsibilities would include developing the technical capability of the existing staff, advise on and give training, assist with continued development and respond to technical queries, managing the implementation of supporting software for BIM and support for tenders and proposals requiring digital information content.
