Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services) – Dublin

We are currently working with a well-established building services consultancy in Dublin to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of a wide range of projects across Ireland.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of electrical design packages while progressing toward Associate level within a dynamic and growing team.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical building services designs across the full project lifecycle — from concept through to construction and commissioning.
 

You will work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure technically robust and compliant solutions across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design (LV/HV systems, lighting, power, life safety systems) across projects
• Deliver designs from concept, detailed design, through to construction stage
• Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams
• Ensure compliance with Irish and UK electrical standards and regulations
• Manage project deliverables, technical reviews, and client interactions
• Contribute to value engineering and efficient system design

Requirements

• 8–12 years’ experience in electrical building services engineering
• Strong consultancy background (essential)
• Proven experience in electrical design across multiple project stages
• Solid understanding of Irish and UK standards (ET101, BS standards, etc.)
• Experience across sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, or similar
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Salary & Progression

• €95,000 – €105,000 depending on experience
• Clear pathway toward Associate level
• Progression linked to leadership, client engagement, and commercial performance
