We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Energy Marshall to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland.
Develop, implement, and maintain the site energy control strategy, ensuring all electrical systems (LV/MV/HV) are managed safely and in full compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
Safe Energisation Management
Plan, coordinate, and manage the safe energisation and de-energisation of all electrical systems, ensuring all permits, switching schedules, and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures are strictly followed.
Cross-Team Coordination and Leadership
Lead and chair daily and weekly energy control meetings, fostering close coordination between MEP, OFCI, commissioning, and general contracting teams to ensure clear communication and safe execution of energisation activities.
Documentation, Control, and Compliance
Prepare and validate switching plans, method statements, and risk assessments. Maintain accurate records, including live energy status boards and energisation logs, to ensure full traceability and compliance.
Commissioning and Systems Interface
Collaborate with commissioning teams to manage energisation milestones, including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, load bank testing, and critical cooling systems, ensuring safe and seamless integration into the project schedule.
Safety, Training, and Risk Management
Deliver energy awareness and safety training for site teams and subcontractors. Support the project’s risk management process by identifying high-risk electrical activities and implementing robust control and mitigation measures.
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on high voltage/large scale electrical projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Finland
€95,000 - €100,000 + Full rotational Package (including €250 net a week allowance, Accommodation, Flights, rotation etc.)
