Our client is a €1.3bn+ main contractor delivering state-of-the-art data centres across Northern and Central Europe. Known for their turnkey delivery model—from design through to commissioning—they’re expanding fast (10–15% growth annually). They’re now building a €500m+ hyperscale facility in Amsterdam and need an Electrical Construction Manager to lead the electrical delivery on-site. This is your opportunity to step into a key leadership role, driving the electrical delivery of a complex build from the ground up. You’ll be overseeing subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring compliance, and making sure every cable, panel, and connection is installed to the highest standard — safely, efficiently, and on time. What You’ll Be Doing: What You’ll Bring: What’s on offer:
• Own the day-to-day management of all electrical works on site — from containment and cabling to switchgear and final commissioning.
• Act as the main point of contact for all client-side communication related to electrical delivery.
• Produce and review method statements, risk assessments, and ensure strict adherence to safety and project standards.
• Coordinate electrical installation sequencing with the wider project team to meet key programme milestones.
• Oversee procurement of electrical equipment, materials, and specialist subcontractors.
• Track and manage change — document, cost, and include in monthly valuations and final account.
• Maintain a two-week lookahead schedule and align labour to meet programme demands.
• Hold subcontractors accountable for performance, quality, and adherence to spec.
• Proactively report risks, delays, and variations to the Project Manager.
• Ensure all equipment is compliant, delivered to spec, and stored safely on site.
• Enforce the highest levels of safety, compliance, and on-site discipline.
• Keep site housekeeping standards high — zero tolerance for mess or disorganisation.
• Collaborate with package managers to develop and implement smarter ways of working.
• Lead on cost and programme impacts when it comes to change control.
• A recognised electrical qualification — BEng, HNC, NVQ, or equivalent.
• Strong background in electrical construction management on M&E projects.
• Data centre experience? That’s a major bonus.
• Confident leadership, top-tier communication, and solid commercial instincts.
• A proactive approach — someone who doesn’t wait for problems to escalate.
• Work for one of the leading players in the data centre construction sector.
• Get hands-on with technically challenging, high-profile projects.
• Be part of a collaborative, high-performance team.
• Real career progression opportunities.
• Competitive salary package that recognises your value.
