Our client is a leading specialist data centre main contractor delivering full turnkey solutions on new build data centre projects across Europe. Their expertise spans civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning works.
With group turnover exceeding €1.5bn and a strong order book secured for the next three years, they continue to expand across major mission-critical developments.
As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CSA QA/QC Manager to join the project leadership team on a flagship data centre development in Milan, Italy. The CSA QA/QC Manager will take full responsibility for the quality assurance and quality control of all civil, structural, and architectural works on site — ensuring installations meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and client expectations, while driving a zero-defects culture.
• Lead and manage the CSA quality function across the project, implementing and maintaining the project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop, review, and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
• Oversee inspections of all CSA works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Work closely with construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and consistently achieved.
• Manage and coordinate the QA/QC team, ensuring effective site coverage and reporting.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, conduct regular quality audits, and drive corrective actions where required.
• Chair quality meetings and provide detailed progress and compliance reports to senior management and client representatives.
• Manage the snagging and de-snagging process via the approved digital platform, ensuring timely close-out and formal documentation in line with the QMS.
• Ensure all as-built documentation, test records, and handover packs are completed accurately and issued on programme.
• Promote best practice and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards in conjunction with site management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a QA/QC role on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centre or other mission-critical environments.
• Strong working knowledge of CSA construction methodologies, quality systems, and European building regulations.
• Proven experience implementing and managing QA/QC systems on complex projects.
• Excellent understanding of inspection procedures, documentation control, and handover requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and coordinating subcontractors.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in digital quality management and construction reporting platforms.
