They are now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee 2–3 high-value data centre projects in Sweden, ensuring contractual, commercial, and procurement strategies are effectively implemented across all sites.
• Manage contracts and commercial obligations across multiple data centre projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company policies.
• Oversee project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting, including monitoring of variation orders, claims, and change management.
• Lead negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
• Ensure timely execution of contractual obligations, risk mitigation, and proactive resolution of disputes.
• Support project teams in interpreting contract terms and advising on contractual matters.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with KPIs, quality standards, and programme milestones.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to align commercial and contractual strategies across all projects.
• Prepare, review, and approve contract documents, scopes of work, and commercial correspondence.
• Implement contract management systems, reporting processes, and auditing procedures across projects.
• Provide guidance on procurement strategy, tender evaluation, and subcontractor agreements.
• Ensure adherence to Swedish construction regulations and international data centre benchmarks.
• Chair commercial and contract review meetings, ensuring minutes, actions, and follow-ups are properly documented.
• Promote a culture of commercial and contractual best practice throughout the project teams.
• Proven experience managing contracts and commercial aspects on large-scale construction projects, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sector.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC, NEC, or equivalent standard construction contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities.
• Commercially astute, with experience in cost control, change management, claims, and risk mitigation.
• Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Knowledge of Swedish construction regulations and practices is advantageous.
• Willingness to be based on-site in Sweden with travel between projects as required.
• A leadership role overseeing multiple high-profile data centre projects in Sweden
