My client is looking for Assistant Pre Contracts Managers based from their London Office. Our Client is a leading specialist of office refurbishment and interior design based in London, boasting 25 years of excellence. Annual turnover has grown to in excess of £60m. The role will offer an opportunity to learn about the fit out process, from client meetings through the pre contract stage. This will include assisting with design development, estimating, technical evaluation and assembling documentation for tenders. Key accountabilities: • Assisting on projects ranging from £100k to £2.5m. • Supporting commercial aspects of projects until the point of handover to the Contracts or Project Manager. • Preparing and analysing tender returns. • Assisting in liaising with professional teams, especially quantity/building surveyors. • Identifying and analysing commercial risk. • Co-ordination of design and sub-contractor pricing. The skills and experience required to successfully fulfil the role are as follows: •Ideally Quantity Surveying/Estimating or Construction Project Management degree qualified, •Some experience in quantity surveying and estimating role with a commercial fit-out company or with a small to medium main contractor.
