Site Manager - Technology – Somerset

We are currently Partnering with a High-Growth, Market Leader in the Modular Cleanroom Design for the Biopharmaceutical sector. Demonstrating success across the UK and EMEA, they are currently seeking a Site Manager to join them on a recently acquired technology construction project in Somerset.

Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Site Management:
Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project drawings, programme, and quality standards.
Coordination of Trades & Subcontractors:
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams, ensuring effective sequencing of works and resolving site-level issues promptly to avoid delays or rework.
Programme & Look-Ahead Planning:
Drive the short-term programme and ensure critical path activities are delivered on schedule. Lead daily briefings, review progress against targets, and report deviations to the Project Manager.
Health, Safety & Quality Compliance:
Enforce company HSEQ policies. Carry out daily site inspections, manage permits, deliver toolbox talks, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the site.
Reporting & Communication:
Maintain accurate site records including daily logs, progress photos, and labour allocations. Provide regular updates to project leadership and attend client and contractor coordination meetings as required.

Requirements

•    Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a stable track record with a Main or Subcontractor background
•    Must have excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
•    Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades’ background
•    Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar position on industrial construction projects

Benefits

£65,000 - £70,000 + Package
