Site Manager – Sports Stadium – Limerick

We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Main Contractor with bases across Ireland who have seen success across a number of projects. Due to continued success, there is currently now the need for an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a Stadium build.

Responsibilities

•    Coordination of Structural & Civil Packages
Oversee core civil works including bulk excavation, foundation systems, drainage, concrete terraces, retaining structures, and steel frame erection. Ensure compliance with engineering specs, GAA/UEFA guidelines, and health & safety protocols.
•    Internal & External Fit-Out Management
Manage the full spectrum of internal works—blockwork, M&E, hospitality suites, changing rooms, washrooms, flooring, specialist finishes—as well as façade systems, cladding, curtain walling, and external paving/landscaping.
•    Subcontractor & Trade Sequencing
Coordinate multiple subcontractors across civils, superstructure, M&E, internal fit-out, and stadium-specific systems (e.g. PA, AV, CCTV, turnstiles). Sequence works to maintain programme momentum and avoid interface clashes.
•    Programme, QA & Handover Readiness
Track progress against master programme; drive delivery of critical path elements. Lead quality inspections, snag management, and BCAR compliance. Ensure zones are fully signed off for phased handovers and client walkthroughs.
•    Site Safety, Logistics & Stadium-Specific Protocols
Implement Tier 1 health & safety standards with a strong focus on working at height, plant management, and public interfaces. Maintain clean, well-organised site logistics for materials, personnel, and restricted-access zones.

Requirements

Must have 10+ years’ in a similar role preferably on similar projects
Must have great communication skills both written and oral
Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades’ background

Benefits

€75,000 - €80,000 + Vehicle + Package
